Today’s recipe is an excellent idea for a party snack, but it can also be used as part of a lunchbox. Delicious chicken nuggets, but with a twist! Healthy (oven-baked instead of deep-fried), with Corn Flakes as breading. Yummy!
- chicken breasts
- Corn Flakes
- salt, pepper, paprika, dried onion, garlic powder
- soy sauce
- egg and herbs of your choice (I used anItalian mix)
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, lay a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut the chicken into smaller pieces. Marinate it in a splash of soy sauce and seasoning for about 30 minutes.
Beat an egg with herbs of your choice in a bowl or a deep plate.
Prepare a flat plate and put some Corn Flakes on it, crushing them in your hand (not into dust, just break the giant pieces as they will likely fall off the meat).
Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then roll it in Corn flakes. Place it on the baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake for 30 minutes, turning the nuggets around in the middle (after 15 minutes).
