Happy New Year! (And Have A Great New Year’s Eve)

Happy New Year to all of you, my dear friends! 🙂

Whether you’re going to – or already did? – attend the craziest of crazy New Year’s Eve parties today or have a calm evening at home, I hope you have a great time! Let’s leave all of the bad memories and experiences of 2018 in the past and take all of the good ones to the New Year. Regardless of how 2018 has been, let’s hope that 2019 brings improvements in all aspects of our lives.

That’s it for this year – see you in the new one!

Sharing is caring! Paying it forward.

Sharing is caring! Paying it forward.

Around Christmas, I saw a lot of bloggers write posts under the lovely theme ‘sharing is caring’. Thanks to that initiative, I discovered some amazing blogs through blogs I’d already been following and I myself had visitors who came to my blog because someone else had shared my post on their site.

I would like to join in and, as the title of one of my favourite films says, pay it forward.

5 Most Useful Fitness Accessories

5 Most Useful Fitness Accessories

Welcome back after the short Christmas break! I hope you had a lovely time with your nearest and dearest!

I’m sure most of us still have some scrumptious leftovers from Christmas feasts. But at the same time, we’re now fast approaching the season of making New Year’s Resolutions. I probably won’t be wrong if I say that at least half of those who make resolutions will include – in one way of another – being physically active, improving their fitness level, hitting the gym, or just generally trying to spend less time on the sofa, in front of the TV.

Last year, I was among those who decided to work out in the New Year. I decided to do it every day and, to my surprise, I actually managed to stick to that plan for about 10 months. Let’s have a quick look at how it went! I will also include a list of most useful fitness accessories which helped me stick to the plan.

Annual Christmas Cookie Decor 2018 – Recap

Annual Christmas Cookie Decor 2018 – Recap

I think I can now officially close the season of Christmas cookie decor. I still need to bake two cakes (I’ll do that a day before Christmas though, they have to be fresh!), but when it comes to cookies – which can be baked and decorated in advance – they’re all done and dusted. I thought I’d share a recap of all my Christmas cookies from this year. Well, maybe not all – I made hundreds of gingerbread cookies – but I have photos of all types of toppings I used. This will be lovely to return to in a few months, to reminisce Christmas time.
