I don’t know about you, but personally, I just love a good fun fact. Useful knowledge doesn’t always stick around in my brain for long, but when it comes to random trivia, there’s always a free brain cell to store that piece of info forever. Today, I thought I’d go on a little hunt for interesting facts about cats. Here’s what I found out, in case you like fun facts as much as I do!
I’ve tried various types of adult activity book. The earliest trend I remember was for detailed colouring books for adults. Then, I found a connect-the-dots book with hundreds of dots per image. These activity books are great as stress relief, a good one to try if yoga or meditation aren’t your thing. They’re also fun to do!
We’re in July now, with half of this year gone. Who can believe this? Time flies so fast! My brain still feels like it’s 2019. I wanted to post a little recap of June 2021. Places I’ve visited, foods and activities I enjoyed. Join me on this little time travel if you wish. 🙂

Information sinks in so much easier in form of fun facts, doesn’t it? Today, I compiled a list about something I can’t live without – coffee. If you’ve been following my blog for a long time, you probably know that I’m an animal person. My huge hobby is learning about reptiles, but I’m generally interested in all types of animals. I love watching nature documentaries, I love visiting zoos and I watch loads of YouTube videos about keeping exotic animals as pets. When my life situation allows it, I plan to get some snakes and lizards and a few high maintenance insects – but for now, I became a mum of two six-legged girls.
The pandemic forced the majority of the world to stay at home at some point. The longer the lockdown was, the more boring it felt. Even the nearby park with cute, friendly squirrels wasn’t enough to fill all of my spare time. It felt a bit like long, dark winter evenings, just with considerably more sunshine. One of my favourite time killers in winter are jigsaw puzzles, and it was one of the things I did a lot during lockdown.
This year, I decided to take a look at astrology – an interesting, though controversial subject – and each month examine one star sign and the personality features it allegedly entails. Last month we had a look at Aquarians and – to my surprise – the overwhelming majority of you claimed that the star sign, even if not the most important factor in determining one’s personality, played an important role and often influenced our choices. The characteristics of Aquarian personality seemed to match Aquarian representatives fairly well. I’m curious to see if the trend continues. Today, Pisces take over and they’ll reign until the 20th of March.
I love my kitchen more than any other place, really. I like to have it well-equipped, but I also like to have it pretty. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with rose gold homeware (and judging from the amount of rose gold items in homeware stores, I’m not the only one). I recently went through online stores in search for the prettiest rose gold kitchen I could find. Here are my top picks!

Oh, lovely food. We’re blessed to be alive in the 21st century, living in developed countries where supermarket shelves are packed with an extremely wide variety of products. We’re lucky to be able to choose between different brands and types of food. So how do we choose which item to purchase?
