Sharing is caring! Paying it forward.

Sharing is caring! Paying it forward.

Around Christmas, I saw a lot of bloggers write posts under the lovely theme ‘sharing is caring’. Thanks to that initiative, I discovered some amazing blogs through blogs I’d already been following and I myself had visitors who came to my blog because someone else had shared my post on their site.

I would like to join in and, as the title of one of my favourite films says, pay it forward.

The Best Fruit Crumble With Oats

The Best Fruit Crumble With Oats

Christmas time is over. Most of us enjoyed loads of scrumptious, indulgent foods. Delicious, for sure, but maybe a little bit heavy (and perhaps eaten in huge amounts). In case you’re looking for something a bit lighter and healthier – yet still sweet and tasty – I’m coming with a recipe for a delicious fruit crumble.

I then discovered that date balls were actually a thing and a trend (yep, I know I’m not the first one to make them). I’ve seen loads of recipes and – by trial and error – combined them into one that works best for me.

Healthy Eating Habits – Easy First Steps

Healthy Eating Habits – Easy First Steps

For the last few years I’ve been following quite healthy eating habits – not in an obsessive manner though. When a few months ago I graduated from university and started working full-time, I soon realised that the new lifestyle resulted in my habits getting worse – unhealthy snacks, heavy lunch meals in our on-site bar etc. I spent a while making a plan on how to improve in that field without too much effort and missing out on taste (my goal wasn’t weight loss diet but maintaining a healthy lifestyle that still contains delicious food). Here’s my list of ideas, some of them I’ve been following for a few years, the others for a few months only – but I already know they work for me and I definitely don’t constantly think that I’m missing out on something. Life’s too short to eat food we don’t like after all. 🙂
