Where To See Animals In London For Free – Lemurs, Peacocks, Pelicans, Farm Animals And More

I love animals and just like I did when I was a child, I still love visiting places where I can see, or even interact with animals. Frankly, even seeing a squirrel in my local park makes me happy! Earlier this year, I visited the London Zoo. It’s a great place, but the tickets are too expensive to visit it regularly. So today, I’m bringing you a list of places in London where you can see various animals for free. From native wildlife to exotic monkeys, there are plenty of options. A Day In Weymouth And Isle Of Portland – Day Trip From London By Train – Dorset, England

Today, I’m taking you on a day trip from London to beautiful Dorset, where I visited the Isle of Portland and Weymouth. It was a day trip by train, and although I wish I had gone for a few days instead, I still managed to see a lot. The views were breathtaking, I couldn’t believe my eyes! If you live in London and would love to see the south-west coast, this is a trip for you. It’s good enough as a day trip, which is what I opted for this time, but it would be even better as a weekend holiday. I visited an aquarium and enjoyed a small hike on the coast, but there’s plenty more to do in the area.

Chelsea In Bloom 2026, Belgravia In Bloom 2026 – Free Floral Events In London

If you’re in London this week, run, don’t walk to Chelsea! The annual free floral event, Chelsea in Bloom, has returned. Whilst the famous Chelsea Flower Show is taking place in an enclosed space, with tickets costing an arm and a leg, the general public gets to enjoy a free version on the streets of Chelsea and Belgravia. This year’s theme of Chelsea in Bloom is ‘Out of this World’. Nearby, there’s a sister event: Belgravia in Bloom. Both festivals run from May 18th to May 24th. A Day In Warwick, England – Warwick Castle, St Mary’s Church, Market Hall Museum – Things To Do

I love a day trip, and I love castles. So, a day trip to a place with a stunning castle is right up my street! On the last weekend of April, I went to Warwick. I spent most of the day in Warwick Castle, which is wonderful, but I also managed to see a couple of other landmarks in town: St Mary’s Church with a viewing tower and a beautiful chapel, and local museum. A Day In West London – Brompton Cemetery, Fulham Palace, Chiswick House, Thames Path

After living in London for over 6 years, I still manage to discover new places to explore. And I love it! Today, let me take you on a day trip to west London. On a beautiful, sunny day at the end of April, I visited Brompton Cemetery, Fulham Palace, Chiswick House Gardens, and enjoyed a long walk along the Thames. It was a lovely day, and I didn’t spend a penny, except for some coffee and a sweet treat, which was completely avoidable. White Cliffs Of Dover Hike To Kingsdown – English Coast

White Cliffs of Dover are a famous, picturesque site in the south-east of England. These chalk cliffs offer an abundance of walking routes, all with great views of the English Channel. I’ve had a chance to visit the White Cliffs of Dover a couple of times in the past, but each of those times I only had a few hours to spend there – not enough to explore a large area. So, I decided it was time to schedule a day trip to Dover, to properly find out what it’s got to offer. The day was incredibly foggy and I didn’t get the greatest views, but I still enjoyed the serene landscape of the cliffs, and ended up doing a long hike.
