It feels like forever since I posted any of my crafts. The truth is, I usually don’t spend much time on crafts in the summer. Warm weather and sunshine seem so rare and precious, I choose them over pretty much everything else. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have any older projects to share! This one came in two parts, and as it often is with my crafts, I started working on it around July last year and then life happened and I got distracted. When I finally completed it, it was… February this year, I think.
Mango And Pecan Nut Porridge
It’s been a while since I last posted a porridge recipe, so here it is! A steaming fresh, summery porridge with mango and pecan nuts. Not a flavour I ever thought I would try, but the world belongs to the brave, right? It’s actually really tasty and I’m buzzing to share it with you.
Handmade Cards 2021 – 2
I recently posted a summary of the first small batch of handmade cards I made this year. This time, I want to recap of the second batch of 2021 cards, with cards I made for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and my mum’s birthday.
London Parks – Holland Park
London’s secret weapon are definitely its parks. I’ve said it many times, and I’ll say it again – they’re beautiful, bustling with wildlife you wouldn’t expect to see in the middle of a city, and although the bar is quite high now, every new park I visit has something unexpected that surprises me. Today, I’m taking you to Holland Park. Located in central London, just a 20 minute walk from the famous Hyde Park, it’s home to a Dutch garden (Holland Park after all), as well as… a Japanese garden.
June 2021
We’re in July now, with half of this year gone. Who can believe this? Time flies so fast! My brain still feels like it’s 2019. I wanted to post a little recap of June 2021. Places I’ve visited, foods and activities I enjoyed. Join me on this little time travel if you wish. 🙂
Vegan Black Beans and Avocado Quinoa
I feel like every time I post a recipe, I say it’s my recent amazing discovery and the best thing in the world. This time… it’s not going to be any different! I want to share with you a recipe I’ve been loving for the past month. Vegan and high protein, if anyone’s in the market for that. 🙂
Mandala Colouring Pages
Colouring pages for adults grew in popularity in recent years and it’s become a well-known stress relief method. I’ve talked you through the origin of mandala patterns before and over the past year I drew a good amount of mandala colouring pages. I’d like to share them with you today.
London Parks – Greenwich
One of my favourite things about London are its parks. Huge, green areas, surprisingly neat for being nature enclaves, and surprisingly full of wildlife for being so tidy and looked after. In the series covering London Parks, today I’m taking you on a trip to Greenwich.
Greek Style Salad – Feta, Croutons
Today, I’m presenting you the Queen of salads. My absolute favourite. A fantastic way to incorporate vegetables in your diet but also provide your body with a variety of important nutrients, and – most importantly – feed the hunger with delicious flavours.
Handmade Cards 2021 – I
It’s been a while since I posted photos of my handmade cards, but fear not! I definitely still make them for all family occasions! But just to have a record of them on the blog – for you, and for myself – I thought I would make a recap in two posts. This is the first of them, with cards I made for my dad’s birthday, my grandmother’s birthday and my sister’s birthday.
