Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

We’re now about to enter the Valentine’s week. Do you celebrate the holiday? And if so, do you exchange gifts with your other half? If the answer is yes but you still haven’t decided what to get this year – I’ve prepared a few ideas! And if you’re one of those cringing at the heart-themed, couples kind of items shown on display of most stores at this time of year – sorry for that! The Valentine cringe will be over in just a few days. πŸ˜‰

Photo Frame

Valentine gift ideas - love photo frame

A frame with a photo of the two of you to reminisce happy moments will be a good addition to any home. Simple and inexpensive, yet perfectly romantic – an ideal gift for Valentine’s Day.

Matching Mugs

Most of the gift ideas I’ve prepared are actually matching sets for couples. Some will call them cringey, others will appreciate the practical aspect behind a themed print. For example – who doesn’t use mugs, right?

Pillow Set

Some of my favourite themed gifts for couples are pillow sets. You can find them with cute and funny sentences or pictures – creativity in this market is stunning! And the best thing about this gift idea is that the Valentine cringe shouldn’t be a problem – after all, this gift will likely only be seen by the two of you!

Key Chains Set

In case you’d like some discrete reminder of your loved one for the times when you’re not together – how about this matching set of key chains? It’s subtle and easy to take with you wherever you go!

Heart Shaped Chocolates

Valentine gift ideas - heart shaped chocolates

Taking a short break from couples gifts to remind you that chocolate is a thing. And who doesn’t love chocolate? It makes a perfect gift for any occasion, really. For Valentine’s Day, I’d go for heart-shaped pralines. Whatever box of chocolates you choose though, make sure the chocolate is of high quality! Because naturally, one thing better than chocolate is higher quality chocolate!

Hoodies

And now let’s return to couples gifts. These hoodies seem like a perfect comfy home outfit for long winter evenings spent at home, watching Netflix.

Matching aprons

Last, but not least – I had to add a kitchen-related gift idea, of course! Judging by what I see on Tinder, cooking and baking is becoming increasingly popular among guys. And cooking or baking together with your other half is great fun! So why not do it in matching aprons, right? πŸ™‚

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? What kind of gifts do you buy (if you do)?

  2. These are all great ideas! I absolutely love those pillow cases!!!! It’s hard to find things for men but any of these suggestions would put a smile on their face. For Valentines day my husband always buys me roses and I always make one of his favorite meals and actually show up to the dinner table look as hot as an old potatoes can – (getting harder and harder to pull that off but fortunately their eyes sight diminishes with age lol)

  3. I don’t like Valentine’s Day because it makes me feel lonely 😒. I’m happy to watch a movie with my mother and sometimes I buy gifts for my friends. I love the pillow set and also chocolate is always a good choice 😍🍫

    1. No need to feel lonely! πŸ™‚ I’m used to being on my own for Valentine’s Day at this point and it’s fine! After all, you’re not alone – you get to spend time with yourself – the one and only person who won’t ever leave you and who will always understand you. Let’s appreciate that! πŸ™‚
