If you try to stick to a healthy diet, there are certain foods you’ll inevitably end up missing and craving. After all, who doesn’t love cake? Or cookies? Or pancakes? Luckily, almost everything can be recreated in a healthier version. Today, I want to share with you my version of high protein pancakes. They taste great, they look incredible, and they’re packed with protein, vital for maintaining healthy muscle. Paired with a rich selection of toppings, they’ll create a nutritious, balanced, filling meal that will satisfy you for a long time. With no regrets!

Autumn Almond Cardamom Tart
This recipe just screams autumn. Perfectly aromatic and warming, it’s a little piece of heaven in every bite. And it’s easy to make too! Autumn baking doesn’t get much better than this.
Apple Cinnamon Crisps
To me, September screams apples. Seasonal summer fruits are only a memory (goodbye, strawberry season – you will be missed!) and apples become my go-to fruits. One of the simplest healthy – but delicious – apple snacks you can make only requires 2 ingredients!
Thai Basil Ketjap Manis Ground Turkey
Today, I want to share one of my new favourite recipes. I mentioned it in my July 2021 post as one of my greatest discoveries of the month. Aromatic and full of flavour, this Thai basil ketjap manis turkey is extremely versatile and will perfectly work as the meat protein source on your lunch/dinner plate, accompanied by a source of complex carbs (think rice or pasta) and some steamed veggies (I recommend tenderstem broccoli). It can also be used in stir fry, wraps, or even as a sandwich filler!
July 2021
Another month has gone and we’re now closer to 2022 than 2020. Where do all the days go?! Time flies so fast. Last month, I decided to post a summary of my highlights of June 2021. I feel like it’ll be nice to look back on in the future, so I decided to make it a tradition and write up an overview of July 2021 as well. In all honesty, things I did at the beginning of the month feel like such a distant past, I’m actually amazed with how much I manage to fit in one month. One thing’s sure – I’m really good at keeping myself busy all the time.
Turmeric Pear Porridge
After a while without porridge recipes, I’m about to bless you with a second one this month (and it may not be the last!). Porridge – also known as oatmeal – is one of my favourite breakfast foods. Not only healthy and nutritious, but also so, so delicious! It’s a perfect base that can carry almost any flavour. Carrot cake, banana, coconut… the possibilities are endless. I’ve even seen recipes for savoury porridge, though I’m yet to try those out. Today, I want to share a recipe for turmeric pear porridge.
Mango And Pecan Nut Porridge
It’s been a while since I last posted a porridge recipe, so here it is! A steaming fresh, summery porridge with mango and pecan nuts. Not a flavour I ever thought I would try, but the world belongs to the brave, right? It’s actually really tasty and I’m buzzing to share it with you.
June 2021
We’re in July now, with half of this year gone. Who can believe this? Time flies so fast! My brain still feels like it’s 2019. I wanted to post a little recap of June 2021. Places I’ve visited, foods and activities I enjoyed. Join me on this little time travel if you wish. 🙂
Vegan Black Beans and Avocado Quinoa
I feel like every time I post a recipe, I say it’s my recent amazing discovery and the best thing in the world. This time… it’s not going to be any different! I want to share with you a recipe I’ve been loving for the past month. Vegan and high protein, if anyone’s in the market for that. 🙂
Greek Style Salad – Feta, Croutons
Today, I’m presenting you the Queen of salads. My absolute favourite. A fantastic way to incorporate vegetables in your diet but also provide your body with a variety of important nutrients, and – most importantly – feed the hunger with delicious flavours.
