It’s been a little while since my last cross stitch post, but fear not – I have not lost my passion! If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may have noticed my passion for cross stitching. I started with a mini design featuring a fox in a winter hat, which sparked my love for the craft. Since then, I’ve completed loads of cute, colourful designs. In this post, I’m going to collate all of them – hopefully, it will inspire some of you to try a new craft too! So far, all of the cross stitch designs that I’ve finished came from assorted craft kits, which included all of the necessary supplies and instructions. A great way to learn something new!

Sticking to this blog’s tradition, it’s time for the annual summary of all the handmade cards I created this year for my family members. It’s always fun to gather all of my works in one post and see what I came up with. This year, it was a good mix of techniques, although with a strong focus on my favourite method – quilling. Oops, I did it again! I finished yet another cross stitch project. It seems like 2024 will go down as the one when I cross stitched through my spare time. This time, I completed a mini kit with a unicorn design. Simple, but cute. A always, I enjoyed my time cross stitching during some rainy afternoons (we’ve had quite a few of those in London recently)!

You may have noticed that I’ve been enjoying cross stitching this year. I’ve lost count of all the little cross stitching projects I’ve finished. Well, I’ve just completed another one! The April weather in London this year has been rather uninviting, and that means one thing: more indoor time for crafts! This time, I decided to try some soap making, with a DIY melt and pour soap making kit. It turned out to be super easy, quick, and not messy at all. A perfect little project for a rainy afternoon.

I typically summarise all of my handmade cards in a single post each year, but I decided to make an exception this time. I recently made DIY card for Mother’s Day, which falls of May 26th in Poland. The card was a mixed-media and mixed-technique project and I tried a few things not knowing if they would work – but they did! I’m super happy with the result and thought I would share the process, in hopes it inspires someone to experiment with various methods and supplies in their cardmaking.

I flew back home for Easter holidays and my sister surprised me with a cross stitch kit that she had bought for me, and it was a perfect project for the holiday period.
