We may be in between two festive periods – Halloween and Christmas – but it’s never a bad time for a generic crafty project. This time, I completed yet another cross stitch piece from an assorted kit, depicting a floral cat. I got it in TKMaxx, like most of the assorted craft kits, and for around £2. It was a good use of money – kept me busy for a couple of hours!

DIY Cross Stitch Kit – Bee With Flowers

It feels like it’s been a while since I last posted a new cross stitch project! I enjoyed some other crafts recently – some of them, like the acrylic stained glass ornament, you can already see on the blog. A few others will be shared soon. But today, I’d like to share with you a cross stitch project featuring a bee with a floral wreath. I have plenty of cross stitch sets at home waiting for their turn, but the colour scheme of this bee caught my eye. Also, a little fun fact: a bee is the symbol of Manchester, a city in Northern England that I often travel to for work. I actually took this project with me for a train journey to Manchester!

DIY Cross Stitch Kit – Hummingbird

Surprise surprise! I’ve completed yet another cross stitch project – who would have thought, right? A few months have passed since I found this new hobby and I’m still thoroughly enjoying it. I even managed to infect my sister with this cross stitching bug, and now we’re stitching together! I flew back home for Easter holidays and my sister surprised me with a cross stitch kit that she had bought for me, and it was a perfect project for the holiday period. Let me present my latest completed cross stitch project – a vibrant hummingbird.
