My cross stitching adventures continue. I can’t believe it’s already been a year and a half since I started cross stitching! It’s the most relaxing craft for me. I love to grab a needle in the evening and slowly sew a vibrant pattern to wind down after a long day. This time, I wanted to share my most recently completed project, which features vases with green leaves. I really liked how three-dimensional the pattern looked, and the bright leaves made the design pop. The colours included in the set weren’t perfect, but overall, the project was a success.

Miso Marinated Salmon With Coriander, Lime And Peas Rice – Simple Ingredients Only
It is recommended that we eat fish twice a week, including one serving of oily fish, but a lot of people in the Western world fail to meet that recommendation. Oily fish are a source of protein, but also the Omega-3 fatty acids, which help prevent heart disease. Today, I’m bringing you a recipe for the best miso-marinated salmon with coriander lime rice. It’s simple and quick, though requires a tiny bit of advance planning to let the fish marinade in the fridge.

Polymer clay sculpting seems to be one of the most popular simple crafts that people pick up. The amount of polymer clay jewellery making videos I see on social media is insane! I’ve had a couple of attempts at polymer clay sculpting in the past, but they weren’t particularly successful. When I saw an assorted polymer clay DIY kit for just £3, I decided to give the craft another go. This time, I had a stab at making small trinket dishes. Here is how it went!

Today, I’m taking you on a trip to Chelsea Physic Garden, located in central London, and a walk around the nearby Battersea Park. I had visited the Chelsea Physic Garden before, during last year’s Plant Festival. It was a nice, chilled day out and I decided to do it again this year. Entry to the Garden is free during the festival, which is the perfect opportunity to visit it. There is also a small fair taking place in the Garden during the festival, where you can find a variety of craft goods – including skincare products, chocolate bars and, naturally, plants and herbs. It was a fun day!

Saturday day trips are some of my favourite things to do. I usually explore the UK, but recently, I had a chance to go on a day trip close to my hometown in Poland. I spent the Easter period with my family and on my final day back home, we decided to go on a little trip. We visited two castles, in Mirów and Bobolice – part of the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests in the south of Poland, which includes 25 medieval castles between Częstochowa and Kraków.
