London In Photos – Summer 2025 – Parks, Exhibitions, Wildlife

This year, we’ve been blessed with an amazing summer here in London. Stereotypical English weather, with rain every day? Forget about it! It’s been sunny and warm pretty much since April, with very few showers and several heatwaves. In fact, I feel like it’s been one of the longest summers in my life, and I’m actually ready for autumn. Because of the drought and hot weather, dry leaves are already falling from the trees like crazy. The weather took a bit of a turn within the last week, and I don’t even mind the cooler days. So, it feels like the perfect time to look back at the summer of 2025. Here are some photos from London and other parts of the UK!

London Parks – Richmond

London Parks – Richmond

Richmond Park, London. One of my favourite places in this wonderful city. Located in the south-west of the metropolis, the park covers 9.5 square kilometres, which makes it nearly three times larger than New York’s Central Park. Perfect for a day trip, the park also offers a unique opportunity for getting close to the nature – and it doesn’t cost a penny!

London Parks – St James’s Park

One of my favourite things about London are the parks. Those in the suburbs tend to be more wild, whilst those in the centre – perfect and tidy, with flower beds, pavements and fences. One of my favourite parks in central London is St James’s Park. Located just opposite the Buckingham Palace, it truly looks like a royal park – beautiful, organised and tidy. Full of colourful flowers and amazing wildlife.
