White Cliffs of Dover are a famous, picturesque site in the south-east of England. These chalk cliffs offer an abundance of walking routes, all with great views of the English Channel. I’ve had a chance to visit the White Cliffs of Dover a couple of times in the past, but each of those times I only had a few hours to spend there – not enough to explore a large area. So, I decided it was time to schedule a day trip to Dover, to properly find out what it’s got to offer. The day was incredibly foggy and I didn’t get the greatest views, but I still enjoyed the serene landscape of the cliffs, and ended up doing a long hike. A Day Trip To Deal And Walmer, Kent, England – Two Castles, Garden And Pier
The weather is spoiling us here in the UK now, and you can’t waste a sunny weekend day in England – you never know when it’ll happen again! So, last Saturday, I decided to go on a day trip, which is one of my favourite things to do. I chose a destination I hadn’t been to before – Deal, a coastal town in Kent, south-east from London. I visited two Tudor castles, had a walk around stunning gardens and enjoyed the fresh air on the beach. Let me take you on that trip.
