When I was still at the very beginning of my crocheting journey, I got carried away buying assorted DIY kits for simple crochet projects. I’m still far from being a crocheting pro, but I’ve learnt a lot since then and can finish simple projects in close to no time, without the need to look at tutorials. I’m still going through the stash of sets I bought a few months ago, and recently, I crocheted a simple watermelon keychain. And although it was a very basic project, it still taught me a lesson. DIY Tiger Plushie – Learning To Crochet – Amigurumi Crocheting
One of my goals for this year has been to learn to crochet. I originally tried to make the first steps last year, but gave up almost right away. This year, I’ve actually managed to learn the basics, starting my journey with crocheted Easter eggs. More recently, I made some cute avocado coasters. Today, I’d like to share with you my most recent project – a crocheted tiger plushie. I used an assorted DIY kit and managed to successfully complete the project without major issues. One of my New Year’s Resolutions for 2025 was to learn to crochet. It was challenging at the start – you can read about by troubles here – but I’m now able to complete simple crocheted projects. Recently, I managed to make two cute avocado coasters. I’m by no means a crocheting expert, but I learnt a lot when working on this project and even managed to improve between the two coasters.
