5 Days In Gdansk, Poland

5 Days In Gdansk, Poland

Although I’ve lived in London for nearly five years, I still visit my motherland a few times a year. I usually travel to my hometown, which is in the south of Poland, but recently I spent a few days in Gdańsk – a beautiful city located in the north of Poland, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Gdańsk seamlessly weaves together vibrant history, stunning architecture, and serene beaches. I visited a few museums, ate fish and chips every day and had leisurely strolls on the beach. Join me as I reminisce that adventure!

DIY Cross Stitch Kit – Unicorn

DIY Cross Stitch Kit – Unicorn

Oops, I did it again! I finished yet another cross stitch project. It seems like 2024 will go down as the one when I cross stitched through my spare time. This time, I completed a mini kit with a unicorn design. Simple, but cute. A always, I enjoyed my time cross stitching during some rainy afternoons (we’ve had quite a few of those in London recently)!

A Day In Dover, Kent, England

A Day In Dover, Kent, England

Today, I’m taking you back in time to a beautiful summer day when I went on a daytrip to Dover. It was one of my favourite trips so far, which combined educational elements of the visit to the majestic Dover Castle with breathtaking views on a quick hike on the white cliffs of Dover. The perfect, balanced agenda for a summer daytrip, if you ask me. Join me as I relive that trip.

Mushroom Chicken Meatballs In Mushroom Sauce [High Protein, Low Fat]

Mushroom Chicken Meatballs In Mushroom Sauce [High Protein, Low Fat]

Today, I’m bringing you an old recipe I invented a few years ago. I made these mushroom chicken meatballs a few times and loved them, but because it was a time when I came up with new meal ideas all the time, this recipe fell off the pedestal and remained forgotten for a while. I rediscovered it recently whilst looking through an old list of blog post ideas. I recreated it last weekend, and it was so good! It will definitely return to my usual meal rota. It only uses a few simple ingredients, but the result is delicious.

Folkestone To Dover Hike – Clifftop Route

Folkestone To Dover Hike – Clifftop Route

The south-east coast of England allows for great hiking opportunities. Whether it’s along the beach or on top of the chalk cliffs, the hikes are filled with stunning views. Some of the most famous white cliffs can be found near Dover. I have once decided to try to walk from Folkestone – a charming town, worth visiting! – to Dover, expecting to enjoy the breathtaking panorama. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the right path that time and ended up walking most of the way at beach level. Still an interesting adventure for sure, but not quite what I had planned. So, I decided to have a second attempt – and this time, I managed to complete the hike between Dover and Folkestone along the clifftops.
